Activities to build international network
Japan nuclear human resource development network is building cooperative relationships with international nuclear human resource development networks, by promoting mutual understanding and sharing information with international nuclear human resources development organizations, such as International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN). As a part of the activities to build this international network, internationalization has become an issue, and in order to design an ideal course for internationalizing young nuclear professionals in Japan, a joint-team consisting of people from industries and academia visited organizations (World Nuclear University (WNU), European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN), International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), IAEA) that conduct international courses in nuclear and had fruitful information exchange and discussions for further cooperation (including requests for dispatched lecturers). Also, as a part of supporting and cooperative activities for NPP newly introducing countries, a home-visit survey to Asian countries (Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Mongol) were performed, and in each country had fruitful information exchange, including the activities of the Japan nuclear human resource development network, and discussion for future cooperative relationships. The home-visit survey report (in Japanese) is released.
